Scotland Coast
Mainland Scotland has 6,160 miles (9,910 km) of coastline, which is longer than that of England. The west coast is heavily indented, with long promontories separated by fjordlike sea lochs. Scotland also has over 790 islands, which increase the length of coastline to some 10,250 miles (16,500 km). Most of these images were made on the islands of Skye, Mull, Lewis, Harris, Orkney and Shetland.
