On Cornwall's rugged west coast near St Just, Porth Nanven beach is well known for its huge rounded cobbles. On this March evening, the sun sank slowly into a bank of cloud, enabling me to include it as a focal point in the image. The foreground is made by the incoming tide swirling around cobbles. I waited until a wave was breaking in the background and used a shutter speed of 1/125th second to almost freeze its movement, giving dynamic tension to the image.
