Old Barn, Porlock Marsh

When this barn was constructed it was protected by a barrier beach and the adjacent trees were part of an orchard. Following a breach of the beach in 1995, sea water now floods the barn on high spring tides. This was one of the biggest tides of 2025, with high tide just after a winter sunrise. I liked the combination of tranquil water and golden light, contributing to a surreal composition.
