Ring-Necked Parakeet

Ring-necked parakeet in Richmond Park. Created in the seventeenth century, Richmond Park has many veteran trees with cavities used by this naturalised species for nesting. In 2015 there were estimated to be over 30,000 ringed necked parakeets living wild in Britain, mostly in and around suburban London.
