Young Leopard

South Luangwa National Park in Zambia is the world's premier destination for photographing the most elegant of cats, the leopard. This image of a young male was captured with my 600mm f/4 lens. Whilst bulky to carry internationally, its tremendous light-gathering capability was ideal for working in subdued light around sunrise and sunset, enabling sharp results at ISO 1600 that a slower lens could not have achieved.
