OGWEN VALLEY

With low cloud hiding the summits of Tryfan and the Glyders it seemed an unpromising day for landscape photography. However, a hike up the lower slopes of Pen yr Ole Wen revealed its potential. Heavy rainfall in the preceding days had created a tumbling cascade of water to lead the eye into this scene, complemented by Llyn Ogwen in thew valley below.
