Blackchurch Rock at Sunset
A periwinkle's-eye view of Blackchurch Rock in Devon taken at low tide just before sunset. To maximise the reflection I splayed my tripod legs flat and mounted my camera upside down beneath it, a few millimetres above the water surface of this rock pool. I captured 12 frames to cover three exposures (merged in Lightroom) and four points of focus (stacked in Helicon), whilst lying in wet seaweed. I used my oldest camera body for this project.
