Portland Lighthouse and Milky Way

This was a technically tricky shot to achieve as Portland lighthouse is much brighter than the Milky Way. The sky comprises 20 stacked frames of 10 seconds (each timed to open the shutter as soon as each sequence of four lighthouse flashes ended) at f/2 and ISO 12,800, whilst the foreground is 10 stacked bracketed frames of 20 seconds at f/2 and ISOs 3200, 800 and 200 merged using HDR function in Lightroom.
