Silver Birches in Boreal Forest

Silver birches are one of the hardiest trees in Europe and a major component of the boreal forest or taiga north of 60 degrees latitude. I made this composition in Eastern Finland using a 230mm telephoto lens to compress perspective. Framing a single pine sapling provides colour contrast and a focal point in the image. 35 frames focus stacked.
